  1. Mount Lycabettus also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos is a Cretaceous limestone hill in Athens, Greece at 300 meters (908 feet) above sea level.

  3. Mallorca is the island of contrasts. The Palma airport located 8km from the center of town. On the one hand, luxury villas “perched” on green slopes and huge yachts in the marinas, and on the other high-rise hotels for mass tourism and cheap vacation packages.

  4. Katakolon in Greece is a small, some would say sleepy, port town located about 15kms from Pirgos on the western coast of the Peloponnese. Its main claim to fame is a deepwater port suitable for the largest cruise ships you can imagine, along with the fact that it is only 35kms from Ancient Olympia. It is also where my wife´s family is from, so I have spent more than a few summer holidays sitting around Katakolon chatting with friends, watching the cruise ships come and go and exploring the surrounding areas.

  10. The 720 bus actually leaves stand four outside the arrivals hall every 20 minutes. This links with Laureatina, probably the southernmost end of Linea B on the Metro system.
The 520 bus actually leaves stand four and also links with the metro station at Cinecitt. This’s on the A line on the metro.
