  3. At Tirana International Airport, taxi transportation into the city utilizes a taximeter system to precisely determine fares. Taxi fare calculations consider journey duration and mileage traveled from the airport terminal to a traveler's destination address. A typical 20-minute taxi ride from the airport to the city center of Tirana can be expected to cost approximately 20 Euro, though traffic conditions may impact the final price. All licensed taxis operating to and from the airport utilize taximeters integrated into the vehicle to provide riders transparent pricing based on the date, time, and specifics of each individual trip. The taximeter automatically begins recording when a passenger enters the taxi, showing continuously updating totals as the trip progresses. Upon arriving at the given destination, the taximeter displays the full amount due to be paid in local currency. This taximeter technology allows travelers smooth and worry-free travel from Tirana Airport into the city while ensuring affordable and honest pricing for every ride.

  7. Castles and watchtowers on its seven hills. Old neighbourhoods with colourful azulejos and sounds of fado echoing down the cobbled streets. Monuments that remind us that this is where Europeans set out to explore the rest of the world, where the city's river meets the Atlantic. Fishing villages and cosmopolitan beaches, old trams and hip bars. Lisbon has its own special personality, its own beautiful contrasts, its own way of charming you.

  8. Most restaurants are open for lunch from noon to two and for dinner from 20:00. This means that many places are completely closed between 2am and 8am. For Parisians, the pre-dinner aperitif, with drinks and snacks with friends, starts at 7pm. Food allergy alert: even if you can express your problem in French, not all places take it seriously, as in the United States.

  9. Zante international airport is located close to Kalamaki, in the south side of the island. It’s only 4.3km away from the town of Zakynthos and just 1km from Laganas.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any public bus service that runs from the airport, but there are always taxis waiting outside the terminal, and plenty car and motorbike rental companies to choose from.

The official name of the airport is “Dionysios Solomos” and it’s IATA code is ZTH. It’s the 6th busiest airport in Greece, and during high season, every day there are decades of scheduled and charter flights. However, due to the endangered loggerhead turtles – “caretta caretta” – which lay their eggs on the nearby beaches, planes are not permitted to land or depart after 12AM and for the whole night.
